How much do the recycling bins cost?
The bins are $8.00 each.
What should I do if my recycling bin is lost, stolen, or broken?
Replacement bins can be purchased at the City Hall for $8.00 each.
What should I do with my recycling bins if I move?
Once purchased, your recycling bin is yours to do with as you wish. If you move within the city of Mt. Pleasant or to another of our member communities, you can take your bin with you to use at your new residence. If you leave the area, you can either leave your bin behind for the next resident to use, take it with you, or return it to City Hall. If it is in good condition, we will refund the $8.00.
When will my recycling be picked up?
North of Highway 34 in Mount Pleasant, recycling is picked up every other Wednesday. South of Highway 34, recycling is picked up every other Thursday. Click here for a printable schedule.
