Our sanitary landfill takes in approximately 200 tons of garbage per day from the commission's member communities.

Public Drop Off Area
We have public drop off areas for residents to place trash, yard waste, demolition, tires, and scrap metal. Some special points are:

• Clean, fully paved, convenient
• Allows passenger vehicles to unload without entering active fill areas
  
• Improved safety to both small vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Convenient loading of compost & woodchips (when available) .
  

Compost Program
We a have public area for residents to load their own compost (when avaialable) at no charge. Some special points are:

• No charge for yardwaste (leaves and grass)
• Finished compost available to public for free at public drop-off area (when- available)
  

Woodwaste Program
We have a wood waste program for residents to place woodwaste. Some special points are:

• Reduced rates for brush and clean (untreated and unpainted) lumber and pallets
• Woodchip mulch available to public for free at public drop-off area (when- available)
